I see give-aways all the time in blogland, and I did not realize until this moment how much planning and thought goes into each one. I suppose that with practice it does get easier, but I'm not there yet. :) So on to the show!

That's it....pretty simple ;)
The Loot:
A $25 gift certificate to one of my favorite stores - Target!
and
The Car.Go Tote. Now you're probably wondering what this is....well I will tell you.
After Harrison was born, Devlin went through an adjustment period and he started wanting to be 'tucked' in the car just like Baby Brother. So after telling my mom this, she came up with a tote for Dev so he could get 'tucked' into the car as well.
Included in his personalized tote was a small blanket, travel pillow, various coloring books and a small pack of crayons. He
loves adores cherishes it. Now, Mom included Cars themed items because he loves that movie. Now Dev can have his blanket and pillow for when he's tired, or just because, and he can color when he feels like it. We hang this bag off the back of the driver's seat, draped over the headrest, and it's the perfect spot for him to reach over and grab what he needs. When we had a rental Jeep Grand Cherokee, I put this bag in between the boys and Dev was still able to reach what he wanted with ease.
|
This pocket can hold three coloring books. |
|
Here's everything but the crayons laid out....Dev stole took his crayons and the other two coloring books to do up some art work as soon as I pulled his tote out of the car. :) |
|
Here's my boy showing off his tote. He loves this thing and it keeps everything at his hand during car trips. He pulls the stuff out that he wants and doesn't have to ask us to help him! |
The Car.Go Tote that I'm offering up will have a
plain unadorned fleece blanket and a travel pillow, not cars-themed. The pillow, blanket and tote are all customizable. The tote can have a small phrase embroidered, just like Dev's Tote. The blanket and pillow can have a single initial or small, simple image embroidered or appliqued on one corner of each. Some of the designs offered include a flower, basket, dinosaur, gingerbread man and flip flop.
I plan on doing a more in-depth post on this
in the future later this week, along with a tutorial to make one for your little guy or gal!
The Winner will be posted on Saturday morning. I will use a random generator to decide who wins. I will contact the winner that morning.
I hope you guys enjoy this, because this Car.Go Tote will be one of the first items in my etsy shop, which I hope to open soon.
Have a wonderful day!
